Saturday was another great day at the CEV Small Countries Association (SCA) Beach Volleyball Finals in Perth. It was a second day full of sunshine and matches and Scottish Volleyball is thrilled with the running of the event. After 19 good quality matches, the semi-finalists emerged for both the men’s and women’s competitions.
Katerina Yiasoumi/Anastasia Yiasoumi (Cyprus), Alexandra Graves/Miriam Gormally (Ireland), home stars Lynne Beattie/Melissa Coutts (Scotland) and Elisabet Einarsdottir/Berglind Jonsdottir (Iceland) have all made it to the semi-finals in the women’s tournament.
Two Scottish teams, Ross McKelvie/Callum Stewart and Connor Boyle/Mitchell Brown, England’s Mark Garcia-Kidd/Frederick Bialokoz and Monaco’s Pascal Ferry/Vincent Ferry are the four semi-finalists of the men’s tournament.
