In conjunction with this year’s Earth Day and to show their commitment to protecting 
the environment, the CEV and the organisers of the 2017 CEV Volleyball Champions League Final Four – Women organised a special action involving two kids reading out an inspirational text between the first and second sets of the matchup between Dinamo MOSCOW and Imoco Volley CONEGLIANO.
This action marked another milestone in the Green Way – Volleyball Way campaign launched by the CEV in late 2014 in an effort to raise awareness about the importance of environmental protection and sustainable development.
The following text was shared with some 4,000 fans in attendance at Palaverde in Treviso: “We wish for many quiet, clean and happy days in the future of our planet Earth, so that it spreads bright, warm colours of life across the universe. Commit to save and protect the planet Earth, which we have inherited from our ancestors and we will pass on to the next generations. This is our message to the world on this year’s Earth Day.”
