Malta – the country that currently holds the Presidency of the European Union – is at present playing host to the European Sport Forum. CEV Senior Vice President Renato Arena is among many high-profile sports officials attending the event, which takes place exactly two weeks before the Mediterranean archipelago plays host to this year’s first meeting of the CEV Executive Committee.
In conjunction with the upcoming event, the organisers have designed a logo, which was presented on Wednesday by Malta Volleyball Federation (MVA) President Jesmond Saliba to Mr Arena as well as to the CEO of Sport Malta, Mr Mark Cutajar.
The local Volleyball family in Malta very much looks forward to hosting Europe’s highest-ranking Volleyball authorities and to a historic meeting, which comes at a time the governance of Volleyball in Europe is undergoing major changes under the leadership of CEV President, Aleksandar Boričić.
